Elephant Press - Card Set - "Hello" Guatemalan Huipil Design (8 Cards & Envelopes)

Guatemala is a country of renowned folklore and many traditions, attributed to the influence of the former Mayan civilization that inhabited the country until the arrival of the Spanish. These Mayan communities have been weaving their own traditional clothes by loom for years, each design and color represents a specific tribe and culture in order to distinguish and recognize each other.

This card set of 8 cards and envelopes is inspired by the huipil (the most common traditional garment worn by indigenous women) of Quetzaltenango. The cards are printed based on the real colors and embossed to feel the "textile" texture of the huipil.
